I'm primarily interested in the relationship between architecture and light. I often create them according to desired principles, leading to a desired effect, and how they help direct a person's instincts, whether in an uncomfortable, dynamic narrative or the most extreme anxiety. I must show, I must seek authenticity - moments that mark the character of a place in this or another world, now or in the future. That's why I was drawn to the Photo Emotion project. It seems to be a space where the image becomes a carrier of emotion, memory, and identity. Good urban photography doesn't just document streets or squares. It shows the rhythm of the city, its history recorded in facades, window reflections, tree shadows, and the daily lives of its inhabitants.
The project reminds us that capturing a moment isn't about recording reality, but about interpreting it. Every photo is a dialogue between the photographer and the place. The right moment, the direction of light, the weather, or the presence of passersby can completely transform the meaning of a frame. Photo Emotion promotes precisely this kind of conscious viewing - patience, observation, and respect for the surrounding space. This approach is close to the European tradition of documentary and street photography. In a world dominated by fast-paced images published on social media, photographs that capture attention are increasingly valuable. Photo Emotion encourages the creation of timeless images that tell stories rather than merely present attractive views. For me, Photo Emotion means viewing the city with empathy. Every street has its own character, every facade bears the marks of time, and every resident is part of a larger story.
